Japanese Style acupuncture is a specified form of treatment that focuses on treating the cause of the problem and not just the symptoms themselves.
Treatments are more individualized for the patient and created through the use of palpation and diagnostic process to find the most effective way to resolve the condition. Historically these techniques were only taught to the blind as they were able to employ a greater sense of touch and sensory aptitude.
Japanese acupuncture uses thinner, smaller needles with shallow insertion. This method results in a treatment that causes minimal to no discomfort for patients. We also use more western medical theory in the scope of our practice as well as an active knowledge of fascia and structural anatomy to deliver amazing results.
